A bit of history

Supplying Fruit and Veg has been in Sean Connolly’s family since 1964 when his Grandfather and Grandmother first started their grocery business in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire They eventually moved their greengrocers business to Newark in Nottinghamshire. Years later, Sean continued the fruit and veg family tradition as The Northampton Grocer. As they say, it must be in the blood.

Sean’s grocery HQ is now established on Rothwell high street and supplies fresh fruit, veg and groceries to locals, both domestic and trade in the Northamptonshire area. The Northampton Grocer’s focus is on high quality locally sourced seasonal produce at the right price with a timely doorstep delivery service to the public and to trade establishments such as restaurants, hotels, venues, corner shops and businesses of all kinds.
